WHAT IS #LOSTMTNS?
Blue Mountains Explore began as a group of out-door loving locals who began posting their canyoning, climbing, bushwalking & trail-running adventures on Instagram as @bluemtns_explore in 2016 which quickly amassed a large, passionate following. Keen on expanding their knowledge through exploration and sharing what this adventure packed landscape has to offer, they began tagging their discoveries with #lostmtns. This soon took on a life of its own with the group becoming known as the #lostmtns team.
The team printed this unique hashtag on a few stickers, which became highly sought after. This lead to further stickers, keyrings and t-shirts being offered for sale which sell out almost immediately.
As the team continue to document their adventures, they prefer to feature places, not people, so try to stay out of the picture and keep a low key vibe in the community. Landscapes, horizon lines, secrets and legends are their only focus.
